My Finished Classroom!!

It is officially done. At least for a couple of days. Then I will rearrange again. And continue to rearrange all year. 

It is as ready as it will ever be. Wish me luck tomorrow when I fill it with 23 fourth graders. 

 
Elijah is standing outside his kindergarten door, waiting for Kindergarten Round-Up. He handled it like a pro, walking in, sitting down and ready to listen. I didn't even cry until they took the bus ride. Something about seeing my first born taking off on the big bus brought tears to my eyes. Then I had to chase down Asher who wanted to get on the bus with his brother. Corey is going to come to school with Elijah tomorrow to walk him to his door and take pictures, as I have to be in my classroom. 

Just the LITTLEST bit STRESSED

update: It is a bit hard to get the work you have planned done when the janitors have JUST waxed the floors in the part of the school that holds the laminator, butcher paper and main copier. And, after the wax is applied, one must not walk on the beautiful site for at least 2 days.  AGHHHH!!!

Open house is in ONE WEEK. I still have like, 805 things on my classroom to-do list. I am panicking, having nightmares, stressing. I am going into the classroom tonight to burn the midnight oil and try to hang, label and laminate myself to an early death. Wish me luck. I wonder if Betty Anne has a household/classroom tip for this.
