Not me!

As I sit here typing on the laptop that I {did not} accidentally spill soda on this weekend... I may as well have another go at this.. Check out MckMama for more.
If you saw that lady, the one with the screaming 2 year old, at Target, it was not me. Good thing you didn't follow her, because about 3 aisles into the store, I hear she felt something in her pant leg. Pretty sure the "something" she felt was not in fact, a pair of undies. Her hubby did not think this was hilarious.  Later? When the undies were safely tucked away in her pocket, her cell phone did not ring. Of course, the said undies did not come out with the cell phone, this time with a man in the aisle with her. Why did she just not drop the undies and run? Well, they were her favorite pair. You can't just leave your favorite pair of undies sitting in a random aisle at Target. A good pair is hard to find. {I've heard.}

During pajama day at school? I did not get my son all ready to go, only to realize when we got to school that his pj's had a big hole in the butt. My 2 year old had not apparently gotten ahold of the scissors big brother left out.

Finally, it was not me who was playing hoops with my class in the gym last Friday, and innocently asked our gym teacher excuse me, Elementary Phy Ed. Specialist, which line was the free throw line. He did not bust a gut laughing, then proceed to tell every other person he saw. Who all laughed at me as well.
Have a great week, I'm off to study me up some basketball terms, so I can show them..or not!

It's a good thing you didn't spill that drink on your keyboard. That could really mess up one's blogging apparatus!

And the undies falling out of your pocket when you reached for your phone. Hilarious! Oh, wait. That wasn't you. Sorry for the confusion.

Have a great week,
Pam

LOL - undies in the isle at Target. I would have asked the man if he dropped these. BUt them again, if htey were my favorite I wouldn't want to chance it that he said yes and took them.

I would pick the undies up too. Good undies are hard to find.

I think after a long winter, one thing about the upcoming HUMIDITY that I have to look forward to, is no more static cling of odd items when you are out in public.

It is not me who is exhausted from this weekend and it's only 10:25am. I did not then laugh at your son's pjs.
Happy Monday!

I loved the Target story. I'm glad to hear I am not the only one who has days like that.

I wonder if that man thought you were stealing those undies~~its a good thing security didn't follow you out and demand to see what was in your pocket:)

I haven't spilled soda on the laptop, but I did run over it with the van...and I am typing on it now!!!!

I am sorry you lost your job. I quit teaching Special Ed. 5 years ago because of the political games that you have to play. Ky has already announced a 6.8% budget cut for next year~~sad when education has to suffer! Good luck.

Nice to know that undies in the pant legs happen to others. I would think that I would find more random panties all over town. I will keep my eyes peeled now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you wouldn't just dump them and run like hell because they were your favorite...nothing like a good pair of undies. :)

Great Not Me's! The undies thing sounds like it could have happened in this family as well. I found a dish cloth "clung" to the inside of Lucy's pj's, the morning after she wore them to bed! No wonder why she didn't sleep well that night! Have a great week!

Okay, I am still trying to figure out how you drop a pair of undies in Target. Were just just clinging inside a pant leg or something? Too funny!!!

Thanks for the laugh.

Wow, this is the third "undie incident" I've read about on blogs. I guess they have a mind of their own, sneaking into your clothes and coming out at the wrong time!

So I"m confused.....were they an extra pair of undies that maybe got caught in your pants from the laundry, or were they the one you were wearing? I'm guessing it was the former. Regardless, I was turning bright red for you :)

The undies thing...too funny! The same thing happened to a friend of mine. Only she was in church.

And no, it wasn't me.

Seriously.

oh shoot that is funny....only because I almost came to work one day last week with panties stuck in my pant leg.

I may pay money to just watch Target survelliancce cameras, I be they catch the funniest stuff!!

Regarding the playdate situation...I am humiliated and resist the urge to tell my 3 year old how much she embarrassed me. I humbly apologize and pray it doesn't happen again. I think God's just bringing me down a few notches...

Your blog's adorable btw! :)

LOL you have bad luck with panties lol.. invest in some dryer sheets haha! Oh 23 top is nothing. I once (not by myself) waited on a 110 top. YMCA daycamp... everyday for a week for lunch brought 100, 10yr olds and 10 adults.. yeah.. I am crazy lol.

I am laughing my undies off .. b/c you know what I failed to mention in my not me ...

I did not wear a pair of exercise shorts under my khaki's today just in case my Aunt Flo came to visit. When I didn't go to Kohl's for shopping I did not do, I didn't get so frustrated with said shorts that I didn't just stuff them into my purse. When I didn't get to the register .... they didn't fall out of my purse when I was pulling out my wallet. GASP. I don't think they were purchased back in the 80's and there was not a hole in the crotch to prove that they were not from the store!

*gasp*

PS .. I have to have occasional naps to make it through the day because of Lyme Disease. I thought I would need one today because I had a fever yesterday. :P

I can't stop laughing over the underwear incident! Even if it happened to someone else-not you!

Lindsay said...

I love the underwear story. I had a 13 month old screaming in Target last night, but not a undie in sight. :)

P.S. My county isn't giving us the official cut list unil April 13th! They are going to come around with pink slips the work day after spring break. Nothing says I enjoyed my spring break like a pink slip!

I can't believe one kid cut a hole in the bottom of the other one's PJs! Too funny:)

Getting a hold of scissors is a big fear in my house!

I can see it now....the man should've asked, "Do you always carry around panties in your pocket???"

Sounds like you had a good week!

what did the young man with the hole in his pants think? LOL

This may very well be your best post ever. In my mind, I have this image of you walking around the Target, underwear in one hand, cell phone in the other.

Just another day at the Tarje.

I like to think that you were just keepin' it real. :)
